Extend Ankita / HANDBOOK

Memory, skills & connected apps

Keep preferences, reusable guidance and integrations in the right place.

Personal and project memory

Personal memory stores preferences and facts separately from project notes. Project Context holds decisions for that project. Bounded recall keeps the prompt small; optional daemon consolidation works on the memory journal in the background.

Reusable instructions

Built-in chat skills provide instructions for a type of work. Inspect them with /skills in the CLI or use the desktop command palette to discover enabled skills. Plugins → Skills controls availability.

A skill is guidance, not an extra permission grant. Tool approval rules still apply.

Connect what you need

MCP servers extend the runtime with additional tools. Composio integrations connect supported apps through browser sign-in. Configure the connection and its approval tier before asking the assistant to act.

Auto-allow, ask-once, always-ask and deny controls are available for MCP/Composio actions. Read what an integration can access and review requested actions.
